Media and Innovation Days
Abstract
The ‘Media and Innovation’ seminar is organized by Lund University, Swedish Embassy, Centre for Work, Technology and Social Change and Swedish South Asia Studies Network (SASNET). It will bring together Indian and Swedish researchers, journalists and entrepreneurs from the 7th to 9th of December. Nayantara Ranganathan from the Internet Democracy Project will be speaking on a panel discussion on ‘Digital Security and Media’ along with Mans Svensson, founder of the Lund Internet Institute, Sweden.
Owing to the shift to digital media content, new benefits and challenges have arisen in journalism and there have been rapid changes to media landscapes in both Sweden and India. The Media and Innovation Days seminar aims to explore mutual challenges in the digital context and create new connections in the fields of digital technology, new media studies, and socio-political change.
