Ground Zero Summit 2014
Abstract
The Ground Zero Summit is the largest collaborative platform in Asia for cyber security experts and researchers to address emerging cyber security challenges and demonstrate cutting-edge technologies. Its New Delhi 2014 edition is organised by the Indian Infosec Consortium (IIC), an independent not-for-profit organisation formed by leading cyber experts. Anja Kovacs will be speaking about Internet governance and cyber security in two sessions at the event.
Following on from the huge successes of Ground Zero Summit 2013, New Delhi and Ground Zero Summit 2014, Colombo, Ground Zero Summit 2014, New Delhi promises to bring hackers and information security experts from all over Asia under one roof. It will showcase indigenous products and ingenious brains working in the field of information security to the world. In addition, it will provide a platform to establish and strengthen relationships between corporate, public sector undertakings (PSUs), government departments, security and defense establishments in the region.
Anja Kovacs will speak in two sessions at the event. On 13 November, from 2 to 3 pm, she will participate in a plenary panel discussion on ‘Cyber Chankya — Internet governance in the post-Snowden era’. Other speakers will include Dr. Govind from the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) and Geetha Hariharan from the Centre for Internet and Society. The panel discussion will be moderated by Saikat Datta from the Hindustan Times.
In addition, on 13 November, from 4.30 to 5.10 pm, she will give an introduction to Internet governance and the positions that India has taken in the global Internet governance debate in a parallel session.
Ground Zero Summit 2014 will be attended by join security experts, practitioners, thought leaders, hackers, cyber security taskforce members, scientists, CTO‘s, IT Managers, Senior VPs, CISO’s and aspiring information security professionals and students.
