Consultation on Women in India - Articulating a Vision for 2030

On the 21st and 22nd of March 2013, the High Level Committee on the Status of Women in india (HLCW) is organising a Consultation with the theme, ‘Women in India – Articulating a Vision for 2030’.

The HLCW has been set up by the Government of India to assess the status of women in India, to review all existing government programmes and schemes and to recommend to the Government the changes that need to be made to empower women in India.

The purpose of the consultation is to help identify critical challenges and issues that the HLCW must take into account while it frames its research agenda and strategy for fulfilling the mandate that it has been entrusted with.

The Internet Democracy Project will participate in this event.
