Roundtable on AI and Advertising: Exploring the Good, the Bad and The Unknown

Abstract
This roundtable is hosted by Mozilla Fellows Divij Joshi and and Harriet Kingaby. Radhika Radhakrishnan from the Internet Democracy Project is participating.
The roundtable will be exploring the impacts, good and bad, of AI enhanced advertising, and suggest ways that it can be implemented so that it has a positive impact on consumers, society and the environment. In a small, select group, it will explore themes around shaping the future of an internet funded by advertising as if people and planet mattered.
The conversation will take place under Chatham House Rules to ensure candour, and will involve people from legal, consumer protection, digital rights, AI and advertising backgrounds.
