The aim of this meeting is to facilitate civil society input and engagement in the WSIS+10 Review process. It is organised by Global Partners Digital (GPD), in collaboration with APC, Access Now, Bytes for All, CCG at NLUD, CDT, Coding Rights, FGV/ CTS, the Internet Democracy Project, the Just Net Coalition, KICTANet, and Public Knowledge, with support of the government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the GovLab at NYU. Asian Regional Consultation on the WSIS+10 Review
The Asian Regional Consultation on the WSIS+10 Review is being organised by the Internet Democracy Project, Bytes for All, APNIC, the Association for Progressive Communications, Global Partners Digital, ICT Watch and ISOC. This meeting will bring together around thirty experts from different backgrounds and from around the Asian region who are concerned about issues concerning ICTs, sustainable development, human rights and Internet governance, to ask:
“What are the issues that our governments need to squarely address in the process of the review?”
