Facebook South Asia Safety Summit
Abstract
This event is organised by Facebook, in partnership with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. Dr. Anja Kovacs will be presenting some of the Internet Democracy Project’s work on gendered online abuse in a pecha kucha at the Summmit.
At the Summit, Facebook aims to engage with online safety experts as part of its efforts to create a safe platform for people to share and connect. The Summit also provides those working on these issues with an opportunity to share and connect with each other.
The summit will include a series of conversations around online safety. Facebook will share some of their recent work on these issues. There will also be a series of panel discussions featuring various online safety experts from around the world.
